Why isn't file transfer normally this simple?

Sending a large file should take one gesture. Drop, send, done. Everything else — accounts, options, settings — should be available but never in the way. Rennstream is built around that single moment and refuses to interrupt it.

A €0.99 one-time Lifetime Pass, and light, clearly labelled advertising on free transfers. That is it. A free user is genuinely valuable to us: they use the network, they bring other people to it, and some of them upgrade. We do not need dark patterns for that to work.

No fake download buttons, no invented urgency, no hidden subscription terms, no selling what you send, no quietly keeping files longer than we said. If we ever get this wrong, it is a bug, not a strategy.

Rennstern is a creative production practice. Rennstream is its transfer layer, built as an independent product rather than a page on an agency site: shared design language, shared account foundation, separate purpose. A production can run end to end — produce the work, move it, publish it.
